Carlton Draught | Classic Moments in Commentary
Back in 2006, Fosters was a blockbuster account to work on. Carlton Draught was bringing out blockbuster TVC’s every year with ‘Big Ad’, Flashbeer and Slow Mo. Of course, back then I was in a mid-weight team and while we were asked to write the follow-up to Flashbeer, the small inconvenience of WPP our parent company was literally suing the client at Fosters. Not the best conditions to get a big TVC approved. Anyway, it’s a great yarn and maybe over a beer, I’d be happy to share the full story. In the meantime, this simple little POS campaign promoting Friday Night Footy in pubs was a tactical hit.
